“This coming Advent, Faith is entering into a time of spiritual renewal and reflection. As a congregation we will be participating in program called The Nourshing Vocation Project. This is a program focused on helping individuals and congregations to discern spiritually their vocations. Please see Pastor’s article for more information. As part of this program, there will be opportunity to participate in small groups. In these groups, you will be invited to reflect and discern together as we embark in this program. If you are interested in being in a small group, please let Pastor or the office know. If there any questions, please reach out to Pastor.”
Faith will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner in the Fellowship Hall. We have applied for Thrivent Dollars to help fund this wonderful event. We will meet at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 28, 2024, to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings with our church family (and maybe watch some football.) So, if you’re looking for a place to go or just don’t feel like cooking come and join us. Look for the sign-up sheet on the Foyer bulletin board. All are invited! For questions or more information,
please see Janet Hill or Mary Lou Foster.
Friday, November 8 (4-8PM) and Saturday, November 9 (9AM-2PM)
We will need members of the congregation to help out during the event as well as before the event as we need some muscle for set-up and then take-down.
If you have any questions or if you would be willing to help, please see Beth Schoening or Janet Hill.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34 (NKJV)

SOCIAL MINISTRY PROJECT FOR NOVEMBER – CODE BLUE HELPING THE HOMELESS
Code Blue - Helping the Homeless in our Community when it gets cold at night!
The Code Blue Shelter is located at Trinity Lutheran Church (Luther Hall), 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446. The shelter is open when the shelter organizers call a Code Blue.
Located at the corner of Welsh Road and Valley Forge Road, Trinity provides a warm shelter, refreshments, and company for those in need on nights declared as a “Code Blue.” Code Blue declarations occur when the outside air temperature falls below 30°. Faith will be collecting socks, mittens, gloves and scarves as well as energy bars, individual packs of crackers, juice boxes, etc. (If you’d like to donate money instead, we can purchase Amazon gift cards to donate too.) Please put these donations in the purple bin under the coat rack in the Narthex hallway. For more information see Mary Lou Foster.
Thank you for supporting this ministry in our community!
THANK YOU “FAITH FAMILY” for Sharing with the Children of 141 Impact (our September Project)
As always, your Social Ministry team is very grateful for your generous support of these special children in Uganda. They are developing a new property in Kyanja Village, near their current meeting site. Faith raised $542 ($271 from the congregation and $271 matched by the Hood family) to help cover the cost of constructing a latrine and a ministry office, library and storage building.
Thank you for your prayers and support for these projects that will make a lasting impact on their community.
Congratulations to Dominic Himes, Caleb Pagano, Eleanora Prunkel, and Wesley Walls, who all received their First Holy Communion in October. Welcome to the table brothers and sister!
