Social Ministry/VBS Project: Operation Kid to Kid: Helping Across the Globe
Across the globe, millions of people lack the comfort and hope that come from reading God’s Word in their own language.
In fact, in some places, a Bible is viewed as a luxury! Oftentimes, even pastors don’t have their own Bibles.
World Vision field offices are seeking more than 2 million Bibles to use in discipleship ministries. These Scriptures aren’t simply handed out—they’re used in Bible clubs, VBS programs, parenting classes, and Sunday schools. Kids and adults
discover how to read and apply the truth in God’s Word.
That’s where we can shine! As part of Stellar VBS and for the month of August, our church will take part in Operation Kid-to-Kid.
A $12 donation for Operation Kid-to-Kid provides a Bible, plus helps connect recipients with discipleship opportunities that help them grow in faith.
Operation Kid-to-Kid is a partnership between World Vision
and Group Publishing VBS programs. All donations are sent directly to World Vision, who will purchase language-
appropriate Bibles for use in programs throughout African
nations, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The impact is life-changing! Pastors see the difference when children—the future generation—have, know, and understand Scripture.
Let’s Light Up the World!
