Just so you know: Faith does not have any trash pick-up. We rely on our members to take a bag of trash home every week and put it out with their trash. For the past few years that task has relied heavily on Dale Foster, Vince Hill and Janet Hill. Last month, with two back-to-back weekends of scrapbooking events we were left with three large bags of trash. Thankfully Beth Schoening was nice enough to take them all home and dispose of them. Our sexton, Adam Feldman, collects the trash each week and bags it up but it is all our responsibility to take a bag occasionally, if you are able.

Also, we will be putting a can in the Fellowship Hall to recycle aluminum cans. Not only does it help the environment, but it will generate some cash for the church. Beth Schoening has volunteered to empty the can periodically and take the cans to the recycling center. So, if you have any aluminum cans at home, please bring them in and it will help the earth and Faith Church! Thank you! (Make sure they are aluminum though…if a magnet does not attach to it, it’s aluminum.)

We will be taking a break from Sunday School for the summer months (June, July and August.) But look for some fun spontaneous things popping up for the kiddos in the summer! And don’t forget about Vacation Bible School from 9am-12noon, Monday through Friday, July 31st through August 4th, 2023. (For more information about VBS see below.)
Any comments or questions, please see Gail Achilles, Christian Education Chair
A special thank you to our teachers Gail Achilles, Anna Friedrich and Nancy Gansner for their dedication and ministry to our littlest disciples.
As scripture teaches, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

The Scrapbooking event held on May 21st and 22nd by an outside vendor raised $600 for the General Fund and the event on May 28th and 29th coordinated by Chris Jones and Debbie Hollenbach raised $860. What amazing fundraisers! Thank you to Chris and Debbie for organizing the events and Adam Feldman for setting up and breaking down the room in time for fellowship on both Sundays.
