November 2021 Mustard Seed - Note from Council Secretary

11/9/2021

Hello Church Family, straight from the Word of God and my Jesus loving heart.
Your Sister in Christ, Gail Achilles.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
T
he Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.  My heart leaps for joy,and with my song I praise him. (Psalm 28:7, NIV)
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed, save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.  (Jeremiah 17:14, NIV)
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ[a] dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.[b] 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:15-17, NRSV}
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. (2 Corinthians 9:10, NIV)
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. (Jude 1:21, NASB)
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.2 Worship the Lord with gladness;come before him with joyful songs.3 Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his;we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:1-5, NIV)
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (1Chronicles16:34, NIV)
I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.  (Psalm 69:30, ESV)
     I am the true….
Vine and, my Father is the gardener. (John 15:1, NIV) 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain inyou, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. (John 15:5-8, NIV)
Iwill sing of your steadfast love, O Lord forever;with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations.   2 I declare that your steadfast love is established forever;your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens.(Psalm 89:1-2, NRSV)
   6Do…..
Not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV)
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
